About the Organisation
At the heart of shado’s work is a belief that we need to be building strong, inclusive and accessible movements for change. For too long, gatekeeping within movements and institutions has created the false idea of a top-down model of change – when we know the real work is done on the ground.
Through these Knowledge Pages, we want to demystify some of the important global topics of our time, providing space for everyone to join in the movement for collective liberation.
We’ll be teaming up with frontline organisations to provide accessible breakdowns of social justice issues. We will be hearing from communities working at the frontlines of change, finding out how movements are building and crucially how they connect with wider global issues.
These Knowledge Pages will also provide additional resources, signposting key leaders in the movements and offering ways you can get involved.
