About the Organisation
We acquired Manchester Mental Health and Social Care NHS Trust on 1 January 2017 and, in consultation with key stakeholders, changed our name to Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) at that point to better reflect the extended geography served by the Trust. In April 2021, we acquired Wigan Borough mental health services.
